Could Katie Ginella Return to RHOC for Season 20 Despite Her “Issues” With Cast? Insider Speaks Out
Katie Ginella caused a stir during the 19th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County when she claimed Gretchen Rossi had told her that she was drugged and hospitalized after her “naked wasted” encounter with Tamra Judge amid season four — and then failed a lie detector test in regard to the allegation. But could she still be brought back to the show for its upcoming 20th season?
While Katie, 41, is on the outs with the majority of the cast, aside from Tamra, 58, a new report claims there is a scenario in which she could return.
“With all of the drama on season 19 of RHOC, people are starting to wonder what Season 20 would look like,” a source told OK! Magazine on September 3. “[And there are] two ways Bravo can go about things.”
According to the report, not only are new cast members being considered, but there is also a chance that fans could be reunited with the “OG of the OC,” Vicki Gunvalson, 63, for the series’ milestone season.
“They could bring Vicki Gunvalson back, who Katie gets along with, and Tamra has said deserves a spot on the show,” they continued. “And then they could possibly add one more of Katie’s friends to the mix.”
If Katie, who has a “huge, loud fanbase online,” is brought back, said the source, it “would make sense for Heather Dubrow to stay … [and] add some new people to the mix.”
But there’s also a possibility that Bravo could fire Katie “due to her issues with the cast.”
“The problem is… they’d then have to start turning on each other again… and, as it stands, they made a storyline out of turning on Katie so that wouldn’t really make much sense that they suddenly turned on each other,” the source explained. “It’s unknown what direction Bravo will end up going in at this point in time as the reunion hasn’t been filmed yet and that will play a big role, but it will sure be interesting to see what ends up happening for Season 20.”
An insider previously told the outlet that Katie was taken out of the mix for “a bit” after the lie detector episode.
“Bravo felt that all of the women were coming for her and decided to remove her from the mix for a bit,” the source shared. “It was clear all of the women had planned to band together to take Katie down and they ended up refusing to film with her.”
“Fans of Katie’s can stay tuned, though, as this is not the end of her story on TV,” they added.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 airs Thursdays at 8/7c on Bravo.
Austen Kroll SLAMS Leva Bonaparte for Calling Him ‘Most Complained About,’ Accuses Her of Staging Drama to Save Her Reputation, Claims She Booted Him From Her Restaurant, All While the Scandal Accidentally Catapults Her Business

Austen Kroll isn’t holding back anymore. After weeks of whispers, Instagram subtweets, and rumors circulating the Hamptons, Austen has gone public with his fury over Leva Bonaparte, accusing her of turning a personal feud into full-blown drama — all while ironically boosting her restaurant’s fame.
“She called me the ‘most complained about’ person?” Austen exclaimed, disbelief and anger thick in his voice. “That’s not just unfair — it’s a complete manipulation. She’s staging drama to save her own reputation, and I’m caught in the middle.”
The Restaurant Fallout
Austen claims that the feud didn’t stay in words. According to him, Leva went so far as to boot him from her own restaurant after a minor disagreement, leaving him shocked and publicly humiliated. “I can’t believe she would do that over something so small,” Austen said. “It wasn’t just personal, it was professional too. And yet somehow, it spun in her favor.”
Insiders reveal the irony isn’t lost on anyone. “Leva’s restaurant has never had more attention,” one source explained. “Every fight, every comment, every post about Austen being ‘complained about’ is driving traffic through the roof. People are curious, people are talking — it’s the ultimate reality TV paradox.”
Accusations of Staged Drama
Austen is adamant that the drama is orchestrated. “I’m not just another storyline for her to fix her image,” he said firmly. “She knows how to make herself the victim, the heroine, and somehow it turns everything in her favor. I’m done being part of her play.”
The Hamptons React
Friends and castmates report that the tension has divided the house. Some sympathize with Austen, frustrated by Leva’s tactics, while others are caught up in the spectacle, unsure what’s real and what’s manufactured. “It’s like walking through a minefield,” one insider admitted. “One comment, one move, and another firestorm ignites. The house is buzzing.”
A Love-Hate Spotlight
Despite the chaos, Austen isn’t retreating. “I’m not backing down,” he declared. “I’m tired of being misrepresented. And if this ends up shining a light on how much manipulation goes on behind the scenes, then fine. But I won’t let this fake drama define me or my name.”
In the Hamptons, where every slight becomes a headline and every feud fuels curiosity, Austen and Leva’s explosive clash may be the most talked-about storyline yet — proving once again that in reality TV, sometimes the drama is the star of the show.
