#BreakingNews RHOBH Star Kim Richards OFFICIALLY ARRESTED đ±đ
Kim Richards is reportedly struggling with her sobriety after years of being transparent about her addiction on âThe Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.â
According to TMZ, Kim was involved in a dispute with sister, Kyle Richards, on Wednesday over the former reality starâs alleged relapse into her alcohol addiction.
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to People that law enforcement responded to an incident at a home in the Encino, Calif., area.Â
A source also told the outlet that Kyle, 55, owns a home, which Kim, 60, has allegedly been living in.
The spokesperson told the outlet that officers responded to âkeep the peaceâ after a female reportedly violated a restraining order. After conducting their investigation, law enforcement determined that there was no order on file and no crimes took place.
âBoth parties were informed of the eviction process, and officers kept the peace,â added officials, who did not confirm Kim and Kyleâs alleged involvement in the incident.
TMZ also reported that the family has currently cut off all contact with Kim in hopes the shut-out will help her get sober again.
According to the outlet, Kim was staying in a Hilton hotel in the L.A. area earlier this month when an incident occurred, and Kyle was called. The âHalloweenâ actress allegedly showed up to find Kim under the influence and refusing to leave despite being asked to.
Kim was reportedly placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold and taken to a hospital. After her release, Kyle allegedly allowed Kim to stay in a home she owns until she got back on her feet.
The Post reached out to Kim and Kyleâs reps for comment.
Kimâs sobriety journey became the topic of conversation for many years on âRHOBHâ since Kyle famously outed the actress to be an alcoholic in 2010 during Season 1.
A year later, Kim, who left the show in Season 5, entered rehab.
The star got arrested for public intoxication and entered a treatment center again in April 2015. However, she left the Malibu treatment facility for her daughterâs nuptials in May 2015 before checking herself back in two weeks later.
Kim reflected on her struggles with alcohol addiction to People a year later.
She explained that she had her âfirst real drinkâ when she was 24 years old, and her addiction started after her split from her second husband, Gregg Davis, in 1991.Â
A glass of wine at night escalated into much more. âI started noticing I was drinking a lot,â she revealed at the time. âThatâs when my issue started.â
In December 2016, Kim gushed over being five years sober.
âBefore I started the show, life was really good and then, you know, things happened and it wasnât,â she told the outlet. âAnd it wasnât just my relapse that was hard, but I went through a depression as well after that.â
âIâm just so grateful to be where I am today, and to be this happy and have life this good and have the relationships that I have ⊠I feel so blessed,â admitted Kim. âI feel powerful. I feel so grateful. Honestly. Life is so amazing today. I wake up happy. I go to sleep happy.â
âRHOPâ Star Wendy Osefoâs Husband Eddie âAt Riskâ of Losing His Law License After Fraud Arrest

The Real Housewives of Potomac star Wendy Osefoâs husband, Eddie Osefo, could lose his license to practice law.
Us Weekly spoke exclusively to two attorneys, who warned that Eddieâs âat riskâ of no longer being able to serve as an active lawyer in D.C. if heâs convicted of insurance fraud, conspiracy insurance fraud and making a false statement to a police officer in connection to his October 9 arrest, which saw both him and Wendy behind bars last week.
âMost States, including D.C., do institute discipline for attorneys convicted of fraud or other crimes of moral turpitude. Typically, they wait until resolution of [the] criminal case but in extreme cases they may ask criminal court to make not practicing law a condition of bond,â Texas criminal defense attorney Sam Bassett, who is not representing either Wendy or Eddie and does not have any connection to the case, told Us.
âEddie Osefo is at risk of losing his license. A state bar agency could definitely revoke his law license, especially upon conviction,â he continued, noting that âgenerally, a license is always subject to review or revocation upon a felony arrest or conviction.â
Criminal defense attorney John W. Day, who also has no connection to the case, echoed his viewpoint.
âJust being charged with a felony does not automatically mean Eddie Osefo will lose his law license, but if he is convicted of or pleads guilty to a felony â or a âserious crimeâ which could include a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude â the Washington D.C. disciplinary board can seek to impose discipline on him, which might include disbarment,â Day told Us.
Wendy, 41, and Eddie, 41, were indicted by a grand jury on Thursday, October 9, according to court documents obtained by Us. The reality TV couple were booked in Westminster, Maryland, and spent the night in jail until posting their bail, which was set at $50,000 each.
The charges stem from a reported burglary that allegedly happened at their home in April 2024. According to law enforcement, Wendy and Eddie claimed that several high-priced items, including designer bags and jewelry, were missing from their bedroom after the alleged incident.
However, Wendy was seen wearing one of the allegedly stolen rings on social media.
Upon further investigation, police determined that several other items the Osefos claimed were taken in the alleged robbery had been returned to their respective stores, âwhere a full refund was provided prior to the alleged burglary.â
Prosecutors also alleged that Wendy and Eddie claimed $450,000 in personal property loss through an insurance company.
Following their release, the RHOP stars issued statements through their representative.
âDr. Wendy Osefo and her husband, Edward Osefo, are back home safely with their family and in good spirits. They are grateful for the outpouring of concern and support from friends, fans and colleagues,â their rep  told Us on Friday, October 10. âThe Osefos, alongside their legal team, look forward to their day in court. At this time, they respectfully ask for privacy as they focus on their family and the legal process ahead.â
Wendy joined the Bravo cast in 2020 during season 5 and often boasted about holding four degrees.
In the debut of season 10, which premiered on October 5, fans saw Wendy and Eddie making new additions to their home and bragging about how well his weed company, Happy Eddie, was doing.
The lawyer opened the cannabis company in 2023, capitalizing on a viral moment from the reality series in 2022 which showed how Eddieâs cheerful demeanor landed him the nickname âHappy Eddie.â
In January 2024, Wendyâs husband confirmed he was still a practicing attorney despite his cannabis companyâs success, but admitted that his new venture âtakes time away from work.â
Us also confirmed that the D.C. bar shows Eddieâs law license has been active since 2014.
Both Andy Cohen and fellow RHOP star Candiace Dillard Bassett reacted to Wendy and Eddieâs arrests.
âI know nothing of the charges more than you guys do,â Cohen, 57, said on his SiriusXM show, Andy Cohen Live, on Monday. âIâm sad about this.â
Dillard Bassett, 38, shared she was âshockedâ and âsadâ about the news. She also questioned if her RHOP costars were being âtargeted.â
âWe donât know what the charges are for but we know that the Osefos have a very successful marijuana business,â she said last week. âThey are providing jobs and opportunities for people of color in the area, in the DMV. My first thought is, âAre they being targeted, is this something that we should be thinking about?ââ
