Val Chmerkovskiy has paid a special tribute to Alix Earle, saying she has fallen in love with dancing.
The professional dancer, 39, and the TikToker, 24, are paired up on the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars, which will premiere on September 16.
Combined, the pair share 7.9 million followers on TikTok and 5.7 million on Instagram - and with Val's proven track records of making it to the finals, they are bound to be successful.
Just yesterday, the Ukrainian-American pro dancer shared a clip of him and Alix during rehearsals, and expressed how proud he is of her for enjoying her journey so far.
In the video, the pair can be seen showing off some dance moves and even though the show hasn't even begun yet, Alix is already working hard.
Val said he feels "motivated" and feels grateful to have the opportunity to share his passion with Alix.
He captioned the TikTok post, "Alix represents millions of people that would never think of ballroom dance as something they can or should do.
"As someone who has committed his life to the craft the opportunity to teach such an exceptional human my passion and see her absolutely fall in love with it, is my absolute privilege."
He added, "Thank you @Dancing with the Stars #DWTS for trusting me with such important cargo. I will do my best. Everyday.
"I'm motivated by alix, by dance, and by the opportunity to share it with so many of you. I hope you enjoy our little journey. @Alix Earle thanks."
In the comment section, Alix described Val as "the best teacher ever," and many fans said they are sure they will be successful on the dancing competition.
One said, "HOW IS SHE ALREADY PICKING IT UP THIS FAST." Another added, "Okay why did I get the goose bumps when she did that spin around. She looks SO GOOD ALREADY."
"I think people are underestimating her and I can't wait for you guys to prove them wrong," a third wrote.
A fan commented, "Omg she's already doing so well! That's the beauty of leaning into an experience with gratitude, you guys will do so well this season."
One more added, "I wanted Val to have Alix because he pushes his partners to perfection by correcting the little things and it always pays off I knew Alix would thrive with him, Val is strict but fun, so excited to see his choreography."

Teresa Giudice Says RHONJ Cast is Trying to “Ice Me Out” Amid Casting Rumors, and Reveals If She’d Join RHOSLC

Teresa Giudice shared why it’s been “so hard” for Bravo to “make a decision” about the new season’s cast of the Real Housewives of New Jersey – amid reports that she wasn’t asked back. The star also addressed if she’d consider filming the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City as Whitney Rose’s friend.
According to new reports, Melissa Gorga, Dolores Catania, and Margaret Josephs were the only original stars to film test footage with newbie castmates for the upcoming season. One source claimed that Teresa likely won’t film at all.
On Teresa’s Turning The Tables podcast, the star threw shade at certain costars.
“Basically, they were all trying to ice me out [so that] maybe then Teresa won’t come back,” she explained. “So that’s why it’s been so hard for — I guess Bravo — to make a decision [on] what they want to do.”
Her guest Christian Gray Snow added, “[When Housewives’] focus now is, ‘Hey we gotta make sure that we’re not doing this in this scene and we’re not talking to her in this scene,’ it’s like, now we’re focusing on the wrong thing. The self-producing is … what’s caused problems on these shows.”
“Right,” said Teresa. “And that’s why I feel like Salt Lake City is amazing. I’ve been watching Salt Lake City. I’ve been learning a lot. Yes, so I’ve been reflecting and learning and watching, and we’ll see what the future holds.”
Teresa hinted that she’d consider filming RHOSLC as Whitney’s friend.
“I’m so excited [for the new season] because I love Whitney so much. I’m like, I need to come on Salt Lake City. I’m like, ‘I’ll definitely have your back over there, girl.’ I’m like, ‘And you need to come to Jersey and have my back,'” said Teresa. “That’s my girl in Salt Lake City. I love Whitney. In Miami, I love Alexia and Larsa, even Larsa because Larsa and I did House of Villains together. Yes. And then in Dubai, it’s Chanel. I love Chanel and Taleen because I bonded with them. So I have girls in like a lot of cities.”
