LOVE Is Blind star Kacie McIntosh has pleaded with viewers of the show to stop sending her death threats.
The star of the Netflix reality dating show took to social media to beg for her critics to take a breather on the hate mail and to leave her loved ones out of it.
“I understand I have made mistakes during my time on LiB [Love Is Blind],” Kacie posted to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
“However, there is far more to the heavily edited story than what is being aired, and I hope I can share my side soon.”
Kacie added: “In the meantime, please leave my friends and family out of this negativity as they did not choose to be in this experiment. I did — and please stop with the death threats. [My cat] Chardonnay needs a mom.”
During her time on the season nine of Love Is Blind, Kacie got engaged to Patrick Suzuki before meeting him in person.
Despite their strong connection in the Love is Blind pods, Kacie, 34, changed her mind when the blindfolds came off and she saw 31-year-old Patrick in person.
Kacie was then seen sobbing to producers, despite the couple initially appearing to be one of this season’s strongest matches.
But as she broke down to producers, Kacie shared her thoughts on Patrick – insisting she wasn’t as attracted to him as he deserved from a potential partner.
She said: “He just deserves someone so much better than me.
“He’s not a bad looking guy in any sense, but he deserves someone that’s obsessed with him.”
Patrick was left confused when Kacie told him she “couldn’t do this anymore”.
Explaining her reasons, Kacie was seen telling producers: “Unfortunately, I don’t think my attraction to him is going to grow that much, and it sucks.”
Patrick also found a connection with Anna, 28, in the pods – but she ghosted him and left the experiment.
While Patrick decided to also quit when Kacie did, spoilers for the next batch of episodes show him returning and reuniting with Anna.

“Me and Katie are great. I don't see that much, but she's so sweet,” Tom said. “She's so freaking sweet to me, always, and kind. [She] sends me funny texts sometimes. But, also, I'm respectful of our boundaries.”

Katie and Tom began dating in 2011, a couple of years before the Vanderpump Rules Season 1 premiere. The long-running series provided a candid look at the ex-couple’s relationship, documenting everything from their trust issues and cheating scandals to their engagement and first home purchase to their romantic wedding and ultimate split. Katie announced the latter in March 2022, insisting she and Tom ended things amicably.
“After 12 years on an adventure through life together Tom and I are ending our marriage,” she wrote in a statement. “This ending is not met with resentment or animosity, no sides to choose. We have deep admiration for one another that will always remain and we cherish our friendship. Although we may be on different paths we will continue to love and support one another's happiness.”

More than a year after the divorce was finalized, Katie revealed she was dating rock musician Nick Martin. Tom said he met the Sleeping with Sirens guitarist back in February and was immediately impressed by him.
“And I love her boyfriend,” Tom told Lala. “He's a literal rockstar, and he's just cool as shit. And they seem so happy and in love. I don't know the intricacies of their relationship, but it makes me so happy to see [Katie] happy. It really does, and I have so much love for her.”
