“PARENTAL BATTLE EXPLODES”: Ex-Wife Fabiana Pimentel BLASTS Mel Owens on Golden Bachelor, Calling Him a ‘FAILURE AS A FATHER’ and DEMANDING Their Kids Be SHIELDED From His Romance, Threatening Legal Action if He Continues to Publicize His Dating Drama
The Golden Bachelor just turned from romance to courtroom chaos — and it’s all thanks to one furious ex-wife.
In a scathing public statement, Fabiana Pimentel, the ex-wife of Golden Bachelor contestant Mel Owens, has torched him on social media, accusing him of being a “performer father” who “wants TV validation more than real love or real parenting.”
“He Failed Our Kids Long Before He Failed Me”
Fabiana didn’t hold back, saying she’s “disgusted” to see Mel flaunting his newfound romance on national television while their two children are left questioning why their dad has time for reality TV but not for them.
“He’s not the charming single dad he’s pretending to be,” she wrote. “He’s the man who missed birthdays, school plays, and therapy sessions — but never missed a camera opportunity.”
Sources close to Fabiana reveal she was “stunned” when Mel began discussing their divorce on Golden Bachelor, calling it “a betrayal of privacy” and “a manipulation of their family’s pain for ratings.”
Legal Storm Brewing
Insiders confirm Fabiana has already spoken to her legal team about restricting Mel from using their kids’ names or personal details in interviews or on air.
“If he continues to bring our children into his circus,” she warned, “I’ll have no choice but to take legal action. They deserve protection — not publicity.”
Fabiana reportedly feels Mel’s current Golden Bachelor storyline — which paints him as a heartbroken man finally finding love again — is “built on lies” and “erases years of neglect.”
“He’s Playing Victim — But He’s the One Who Walked Away”
In her most cutting remark yet, Fabiana claimed Mel left the family when she “needed him the most,” and now, he’s rewriting history to appear sympathetic.
“He abandoned us emotionally long before the divorce papers were signed,” she wrote. “Now he’s using the word ‘healing’ like it excuses everything. It doesn’t.”
Mel’s Response: “This Is Just Bitterness”
Mel, 61, has responded indirectly, telling producers he won’t let “bitterness overshadow love,” insisting that his relationship journey on Golden Bachelor is about “growth and forgiveness.”
But production insiders say he was shaken by Fabiana’s words, privately admitting he “never thought she’d go public like that.”
“He wanted redemption,” said one insider. “Instead, he’s getting a reckoning.”
“This Is Just the Beginning”
The feud has sent shockwaves through Bachelor Nation, with sources saying producers are scrambling to edit future episodes to avoid legal fallout — while Fabiana’s lawyers prepare to make their next move.
“She’s not bluffing,” an insider close to Fabiana confirmed. “If he keeps using their kids to sell his redemption arc, she’ll drag him to court — and this time, no one’s editing the truth.”
The Last of Us Creator Leaving HBO Show Before Season 3
The Last of Us co-showrunner and creator of the video game series Neil Druckmann released an update today on the third season of the show that will have some fans unhappy.
Who is stepping down from The Last of Us TV show?
In a message sent out on game developer Naughty Dog’s official X account, Druckmann announced that he would be stepping back from his creative involvement with the HBO adaptation of the game.
According to Druckmann, he will be stepping away from the show before any “meaningful work” on Season 3 starts. The reason for leaving, Druckmann said, is to put his “complete focus” on Naughty Dog’s ongoing projects, including its next game, the sci-fi project, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet.
As a result, Craig Mazin — who worked as co-showrunner beside Druckmann — will likely continue writing and directing the series.
“I’ve made the difficult decision to step away from my creative involvement in The Last of Us on HBO,” Druckmann said in his statement. “With work completed on season 2 and before any meaningful work starts on season 3, now is the right time for me to transition my complete focus to Naughty Dog and its future projects, including writing and directing our exciting next game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, along with my responsibilities as Studio Head and Head of Creative.
“Co-creating the show has been a career highlight. It’s been an honor to work alongside Craig Mazin to executive produce, direct and write on the last two seasons. I’m deeply thankful for the thoughtful approach and dedication the talented cast and crew took to adapting The Last of Us Part I and the continued adaptation of The Last of Us Part II.”
Druckmann currently serves as the head and head of creative of Naughty Dog, and is credited with creating The Last of Us game series, as well as co-creating the show.
