Pedro Pascal Steals the Spotlight at Emmys 2025 in Icy Ivory — ‘Daddy Is a State of Mind’
“Daddy is a state of mind”
Pedro Pascal is having quite the fashionable year. From politically charged tees to romantic scarf tops and thigh-high leather boots, the Narcos actor has been turning heads with nearly every appearance, and he’s keeping that energy going with his new red-carpet look for the 2025 Emmy Awards—which taps into a footwear trend that’s on the verge of going viral.
Pascal arrived to the ceremony wearing an ivory suit composed of a long, structured double-breasted jacket layered over a crisp white shirt that peeked out at the wrists and paired with slim-fit trousers. For footwear, he slipped into what looked like white leather jazz shoes (taking a dance-inspired footwear cue from pal Bad Bunny). The actor put a cool spin on the sophisticated fit with circular caramel-tinted shades. The full fit was courtesy of Celine.
In his own words, “Daddy is a state of mind.”
Tonight, Pascal is nominated for the second time in the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series category, thanks to his performance as Joel Miller in
Based on the bestselling video-game franchise of the same name, The Last of Us is a post-apocalyptic drama that follows a group of people trying to keep civilization alive after a contagious fungal infection turns the majority of humans into zombies.
Pascal’s performance as Joel—a stony loner who becomes a father-like figure to another survivor named Ellie (Bella Ramsey)—has been praised by critics, and his performance in the first season earned him a nomination back in 2023.
The role has also garnered him a nomination at the Golden Globes, as well as wins at the Screen Actors Guild Awards, the People’s Choice Awards, and the Astra TV Awards.
While we’ll have to wait to see if Pascal takes home the prize tonight, it’s clear that he’s already winning on the red carpet.
