The Valley’s Brittany Cartwright Packs on PDA With New Mystery Man as She Looks “Smitten”
Brittany Cartwright stepped out with a mystery man on Thursday night, nearly one year after filing for divorce from her estranged husband, Jax Taylor.
Just days after a number of women, including the ex-employees of his former bar, Jax’s Studio City, accused the 46-year-old Vanderpump Rules alum of sleeping with them and then ditching them, Brittany, 36, attended the At Home With Narwal’s End of Summer Soiree in West Hollywood, California, on August 21, with a “tall, handsome new guy,” and her Valley co-star, Kristen Doute, 42.
“It was clear he was Brittany’s date for the evening,” a source told The U.S. Sun on August 22. “He was very respectful and gave them their distance to have a girls’ chat, but he only had eyes for Brittany.”
According to the report, Brittany arrived at the event with the unnamed man and Kristen. And, throughout the evening, he was doting on Brittany.
“At one point, he was seen rubbing her shoulders. He was very handsome and being coy but extremely attentive and joking with her,” the insider explained.
After staying at the venue for over an hour, the mystery man helped Brittany down the stairs as they held hands and left the event.
“They were holding hands as they walked to the valet,” the onlooker shared. “Brittany looked quite smitten and was glowing all evening. She appeared to be enjoying his company, and they made a cute couple.”
Before stepping out with the unnamed man on Thursday, Brittany, who shares 4-year-old son Cruz with Jax, was linked to singer Will Gittens. However, during a July appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she told Andy Cohen, 57, that she was “single as a pringle.”
Earlier this week, following his announcement that he would not be featured on The Valley season three, Jax, who also stepped away from his bar, was accused of “love bombing” and “discarding” his supposed love interests.
“He used his power there and his charm to manipulate his own staffers. Make us think we were the first employee he had ever been with so that we had to keep it a secret,” one female employee said. “He would make me believe he would never risk breaking the rules for anyone else but me. Sometimes at the bar, he would make sexual comments or inappropriate innuendos at the workplace.
“I know it made me feel uncomfortable because I wouldn’t know how to respond, given he’s still my boss and I was at work. We all felt like we had to go along with it,” she added.
The Valley season three is expected to go into production sometime in the coming months.
