Young & Restless’ Bryton James Warns ‘Danger’ Ahead Could Doom Devon and Abby’s Marriage

Devon and Abby haven’t exactly been front-burner on Young & Restless lately, despite making the trip to Cane’s chateau in France and turning up as guests at Danny and Christine’s recent wedding, but all that’s about to change, as things take a turn for the notoriously happy couple.
Devon has popped up here and there to offer his take on Cane’s shenanigans, and the pair will resurface to make the rounds on Thanksgiving with their families, but otherwise, they’ve kept mostly to themselves, raising little Dom and running their businesses
In fact, Young & Restless fans have all but given up on seeing them onscreen except for special occasions:
It was, then, the perfect time for James to introduce a plot twist: The “excited” actor revealed on a TV Watercooler podcast that there is “quite a bit of drama coming up for ‘Dabby’.
Getting more in-depth with the tease, James revealed, “Devon’s going to find someone in his immediate family in danger and that’s going to put Devon and Abby’s marriage to the test in new ways.”
Considering they’ve been the picture of unity since brushing off the cheating scandal that brought them together several years ago, we’d have to say it’s past time they faced a new challenge.
Which member of Devon’s family will find themselves in danger? Well, it could be Lily, who will undoubtedly become entangled with her ex-husband Cane again at some point. Ashby is on the wrong side of Abby’s father, so
It may be Devon’s cousin, Nate, who lands in danger. After all, he’s getting involved with Victor’s daughter, Victoria, again… and the Black Knight is not going to be happy about that considering he accused Hastings of trying to have him committed before firing him from Newman Enterprises. They’ll all cross paths at the ranch on Thanksgiving, which
Either way, we’ll be keeping an eye out for the upcoming drama!
General Hospital’s Genie Francis Opens Up About How Her Husband Learned to Rise to Challenges In Their Relationship

Last week, we brought readers details from General Hospital star Maurice Benard’s (Sonny) State of Mind podcast where he and his castmate Genie Francis (Laura) talked about the lack of couples on the ABC soap. And now, we have more details from their conversation, which took a turn toward some very personal parts of the actress’ life.
If you didn’t know, Francis has been married to Star Trek: The Next Generation actor and director Jonathan Frakes since May 28, 1988, and when talk turned to his wife’s anxiety, he hadn’t understood the depth of it. “I was selfish,” he stated. “We were both working nonstop and then I’d drag her out to see friends on the weekends. I didn’t realize how hard that was for her.”

Though over time, Frakes learned to recognize her triggers and give her space without guilt, his wife thought back to how an upcoming social event would cause panic. “I start to get panicky and cry and feel sick… my subconscious remembers I have an engagement that night before I consciously do,” she explained before the couple opened up about how they found a way to navigate depressive episodes together. “When I go down the rabbit hole… he will never leave me alone,” Genie shared. “When it lifts, I can finally stand up straight, I can breathe. And I look at him and say, ‘Thank you for not leaving me alone.’” Frakes then relayed, “You know what my shrink told me? When Genie goes that low, all you can do when she’s in a riverbank is just walk along. That’s it. It was the greatest piece of advice I ever got.”

Francis and Frakes are the perfect example when it comes to the old saying, couples who work together, stay together.
