‘RHOSLC’ star Britani Bateman blasts ‘crass’ Meredith Marks for shady nickname: ‘Doesn’t need to stoop that low’
Britani Bateman is firing back after Meredith Marks took a not-so-subtle jab at her — and her “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” co-star Whitney Rose.
Throughout the press cycle for the Bravo series, Marks has referred to Bateman as “S–tani 2,” while calling Rose “S–tney 1,” shady nicknames that clearly didn’t sit well with Bateman.
“I think it’s crass and I think it’s beneath her,” Bateman tells Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” exclusively. “She’s a smart lady. She doesn’t need to stoop that low.”

Britani Bateman breaks down her “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” beef with Meredith Marks during a chat with Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea.”

Bateman believes Marks is “crass” for dubbing her “S–tani 2,” while nicknaming her other onscreen foe Whitney Rose “S–tney 1.”
The tension between Bateman and Marks has been simmering ever since Season 5, when the latter accused the “friend of” newcomer of secretly recording a heated altercation between cast members during a group bus ride.
Bateman has firmly denied intentionally filming the chaos, insisting it was all a misunderstanding.
Still, the scandal created a lasting rift between the two women — one that continues to spill over into the current season as Marks’ sharp tongue and penchant for wordplay find a new target in Bateman.

Bateman (far left) and Marks (far right) started clashing in Season 5, when the former joined the series as a “friend of” the cast (pictured here with Kristen Wiig at a Hollywood event in July).

Marks accused Bateman of secretly recording a heated altercation between cast members during a group bus ride — which Bateman has insisted was not the case, just a misunderstanding.
While Bateman is no stranger to the drama that comes with being part of the “Housewives” orbit, she says that she prefers to keep things classy — a trait she attributes to her strict Mormon upbringing.
“I wasn’t even allowed to say ‘shut up,’” the singer shares. “Yeah, like that’s how Mormon we were growing up, which I love and I raised my kids like that too. And I love that.”

Bateman says Marks is a “smart lady” who is capable of having more couth when it comes to verbal jabs.

Although Bateman (far right) and Marks (second from right) remain at odds, the TikTok singing sensation is happy to report that she and frenemy Brownwyn Newport (far left) are in a better place today.
While things remain icy with Marks, Bateman is thrilled that any contention with Bronwyn Newport seems to be thawing. Despite previous friction, the women seem to be getting closer and closer both on and off camera.
“I’m really starting to appreciate Bronwyn,” gushes Bateman. “She’s brilliant, she’s beautiful, she’s savvy and she’s kind.”
“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo.
Kyle Richards Talks Quitting RHOBH and Nearly Leaving in Past Seasons as She Says There’s Other Things She Wants to Do

Kyle Richards opened up about her potentially impending departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
After wrapping her 15th season of the Bravo reality series, Kyle, 56, who briefly walked away from production amid the show’s 14th season after her split from Mauricio Umansky, 55, said the “day obviously will come” when it’s time for her to walk away from her role.
“It’s been a long time. 15 years. It really is. It’s a long time. I don’t know how long this can go on, how long I can go on for,” she admitted to PEOPLE on October 23.
According to Kyle, she’s considered quitting RHOBH at “different times” throughout her years on the show.
“I think season 2, season 5. I can think of a number of seasons where I almost walked away,” she shared. “But 15 years is a long time and there’s things I want to do, and it takes up a lot of time. And Portia [Umansky] is going to college, so who knows.
Kyle shares three daughters, including Alexia Umansky, 29, Sophia Umansky, 25, and Portia Umansky, 17, with Mauricio, and an older daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, 37, with first husband
Earlier this year, after her temporary exit from RHOBH, Kyle spoke to The Hollywood Reporter about what prompted the break from filming.
“I just didn’t have it in me anymore. I was at a point where I was so depressed,” Kyle explained. “I’m not someone who gets depressed. I’ve had anxiety my entire life but never depression. I really felt like I was struggling with depression, and I expressed that. And I just felt like I could not go into scenarios all the time and just have everyone coming at me.”
“People I thought were my friends, all of a sudden it felt like they weren’t. I just felt like it was too much with what was going on in my life and I thought, ‘Why would I subject myself to this? I don’t know why I’m continuing to do this,’” she continued. “It was absolutely the closest I’ve ever gotten to not coming back to the show.”
As for why she returned, Kyle explained that she didn’t want to experience another loss amid the dissolution of her marriage.
“I know that after 14 years of being on this show, [production has been] family to me, and through all my ups and downs, [they] have been a constant in my life. And I thought to myself … ‘What would I do if all of a sudden that’s removed from my life too?’” she recalled on the
